I’m running for Boone County Clerk because the office must keep pace with the community it serves. Our communities deserve accurate records, dependable processes, and access to information that reflects how people live and work today. Thoughtful modernization, paired with strong compliance and people-centered leadership, is essential to maintaining public trust.

About Monica LeIGH White

Monica White brings more than a decade of experience in compliance, governance, and operational leadership to her campaign for Boone County Clerk.

Her background spans human resources, government-aligned contract work, nonprofit executive leadership, and legislative advocacy. Throughout her career, she has built systems that are accurate, auditable, and accountable — always with the understanding that public-facing institutions must function with structure and integrity.

She has worked in highly regulated industries where documentation standards and confidentiality protocols were mandatory. The Clerk’s Office safeguards records that impact families, businesses, and legal outcomes. Monica has already operated in environments where accuracy and discretion were non-negotiable.

“There is a particular kind of leader who does not announce herself. She builds first, with precision, and let’s the work speak. Monica L. White has been building that way for most of her adult life.”
